I've been doing a lot of greenscreening for my blog pics lately, which has been a fun way to practice my photoshop skills. It also allows me to achieve more eerie effects than can typically be created in world. Even so, the realism of NamiiChu's new 'zombae' poses help a lot, perfect for running away from ghosts, or -being- the ghost. Since this pic isn't a close up you can't get a v ery good look at her zombae kitty eyes, but they are the perfect combo of cute and creepy. And on the subject of cute and creepy, Kokoro Peach's hand mirror for the Nightmare even comes in a 'cute' version that doesn't have a hand popping out of it, if that's your preference. ^^

Blood and bones -- it's the time of year for spooky and mysterious, and plenty of recent releases reflect that. This is especially true of the goods at Lootbox, with macabre and fairy-tale themed gachas from both Cureless and Cubic Cherry. Rather than wear the red riding hood dress that came in my lootbox from Cureless, I decided to wear an upcoming release by Glutz that will be available on Sept. 26th at SaNaRae. The hud comes with multiple color options for both fabric and bones, so you can be a bloody skelly like me, or a clean skelly!^^

Many fantastic Japanese-themed items available at this round of Lootbox, including the expansive Sakura Garden set by Yokai, and the Yuriko set by Luas. They look like they were made for each other, eh? I'm also wearing a skin by Aii for the first time -- her newest skin release, the 'allure' skin. It comes with tons of makeup options and skin details, and is perfect for a fantasy-themed look. In other firsts, this was my first time using green screen in photoshop, and it was a lot of fun! I'm fairly happy with how it turned out, too. ^^

Don't be fooled by my avi's expression - I love ratties, especially when they're as cute as these ones by schadenfreude! The new catwa head updates have made the expressions so life-like and nuanced, though -- I'm really enjoying them!

Feeling cute and sporty in this adorable casual outfit from BOOM, now available at N21. The fun thing about this outfit is that the top has nipple options, and the shorts have a 'naughty' hud that allows you to pull the shorts down. XD

This look is a different one for me, since I rarely wear tattoos in SL (even if I have them in real life), but I guess I was in a bit of an 'urban/punk witch' mood. The pentagram choker from supernatural and devil horns from quirky might have been an inspiration in that regard. A lot of events hitting the grid right now, and GAIA has a cute new skirt and top at Tres Chic, perfect for a casual stroll in the city. Be sure to get the fatpack if you want bonus colors! Thanks to AsteroidBox's takeout bag I now have a solid craving for takeout chinese. This fun item comes with three bento holds, and can be picked up at the newest round of Kawaii Project^^

This new outfit from glutz, available from Kawaii project starting on September 20th (also available for Kemono fit), gave me the inspiration to try out something new: an action shot. I set the shot at Ironwood Hills, a sim with a creepy, Second Hill vibe, and styled my look in a Road-Warrior/Mad Max fashion (the robot arm is a bit of a nod to Furiosa, though the cubic cherry eyepatch is more Snake Plissken). Thanks to a lot of work in photoshop, I think the action shot turned out pretty nice, especially for my first try!^^
