I'm glad my friend Sam told me about this sim, Bluebonnet, where I was able to create a nice winter scene, perfect for cocoa-drinking. The decor isn't mind but I do know that it's made by What Next, if you fancy it! For once I've chosen not to click the pastel colors on Kokoro Peaches clothing hud, choosing instead to wear my Mew hoodie in a more monochromatic palette. This was a fun picture to take. I don't usually put my face in shadows but I felt it worked for the backdrop and atmosphere. My shoulder buddy is the RARE bento creation by Aii and Ego, now out at Pocketgacha. He comes with a hud to change the eye and fur colors, and honestly, what a creative creation -- reminds me of something from a Miyazaki film, somehow. I also wanted to show off the quality and materials of Milk Motion's blazer from Collabor88 so I used Black Dragon. The tee comes with a 'name' version, but as you can see I've gone with the plain version! Nana has also just released some cute shorty-shorts for suicide dollz, in a variety of patterns and made for a number of different mesh bodies.

Good thing my avi is indifferent to the cold, because this 'silent nights' gacha allows you to recreate a rustic winter wonderland on your parcel or platform. The RARE is the cabin (snow optional), and the set includes many other great pieces, including snowman, snowy trees, a woodcutter's stump, a snow-covered wall, and fur rugs. I added the lights from Half-Deer for a little twinkle and festivity. Since the snow is optional, you could theoretically use the cabin year round, too.

I like the aesthetic of soft and lovely mixed with hard and mechanical. This new corset by axix provided inspiration for that with the combination of stark and utilitarian metal with angel wings. The metals are material-enabled and very glossy under the right lighting, and of course, color-changeable via hud. You can grab it at the latest kinky event!

I feel like Moss&Mink has spoiled us by making not one but TWO cute sets for the arcade. I love this kotatsu so much I want it in real life! Ego and Aii's profane guardian dragon may not be the typical idea of "cute," but he looks rather sweet to me, as least in this picture. Ayashi has also released a bunch of new hairs and accessories for the Imaginarium, including this pigtail hair, collar, and bow as part of their dark side gacha set. The event runs through the 31st so be sure to spend some of your Xmas lindens there!

Sometimes there's no one to model with but yourself, so my femboy and boy avis hung out for a photoshoot today, wearing sorta-matching jackets by AMITOMO. Yes! It does fit men's bodies if your avi isn't too huge (my guy is abut 6'3"). I love unisex items, and this new curly, wild hair by Wasabi can be unisex too, if you choose to wear it that way! It helps that my femboy is pretty androgynous to begin with.^^ I love the curl and shape of this hair - very wintery and windblown.

Snow and cheer are in the air, at least in Second Life. Tannenbaum is a special Christmas event with tons of yule-themed pretties. I'm wearing Ayashi's Aya hair, a long bob with soft curls, and this creator is also offering a cute reindeer headdress at the event. The Christmas ornaments I'm holding (also on the tree) are a baubleicious gacha by Moss&Mink, made to look like iced cookies, and are also available at Tannenbaum, as is the cute cocoa cart in the background by HalfDeer. Most of the rest of the Christmas decor, including the candles, presents, boxed ornaments, wreath decor, Christmas tree, and dress, are all part of Moss&Mink's set for the Arcade, "All That Glitter." (The pink / color change armchair, however, you will have to visit District 20 to find!) The dress and tree are both rares, and the dress comes with a HUD that offers both pastel colors and the traditional red and green. Start saving your lindens now because this round of the Arcade looks to be great!

I relate to this picture so much because it's been windy as hell here, though quite sunny out. Perfect jacket weather, really (though i don't have a jacket as nice as this one by villena), though you can still get away with wearing a summer dress underneath, like this cute and strappy one by GAIA. This backdrop by Naberius is so incredible! The materials look so perfect (notice the reflection on the tiles!) that I can't stop staring at it. After my vacation hiatus (oct 24-31) I was super sick with a bad cold, so it's been a while since my last blog post! I'm quite happy to be at it again, though, and had a lot of fun taking this picture. In addition to featuring some cute furniture/decor by Dust Bunny and Moss&Mink, I've surrounded myself with Yokai's cute lil family gacha, which I can't wait to decorate my very pastel house with. I'm about to leave the country, so this is probably my final Halloween themed post for the year! One thing I can never find enough of in SL is unisex clothing, which is why I'm happy that Ayashi makes a lot of hairstyles that work for both men and women, including this new Keya hair available at the Panic of Pumpkin event. Also unisex is this jacket by flite, which isn't made for V-Tech's flatchest mod, but seems to flatten out nicely nonetheless. And people of all (or not) genders love cute bento ears and tails, right? Aii's new nekomata set, available at The Secret Hideout, offers three sizes of ears (I'm wearing the largest), optional flame effects, and a multi-color hud. The animations are, as usual, fluid and dynamic. Definitely a set that you can pair with almost any look!

There's nothing like spooky + kawaii together to make me happy, which is why I love these unicorn punkins by Yokai -- there's only 100 available at Limit 8, so make sure you get yours before they run out! Glutz's leather and mesh outfit (color change via hud!) may not look kawaii at first glance, but pair it with Ayashi's lolita-style hair from Panic of Pumpkin and you have the perfect pastel-style lolli goth look.^^ As usual, Glutz's outfit comes rigged for several different bodies: hourglass, several varieties of kemono, and maitreya. Yay for versatility!

So many, many good gachas now -- be ready to lose your lindens to get all the great rares at Epiphany, like this delinquent hair by Mello (beanie included!). If you're not in the mood to try your luck, you can pick up these cool cut-out leggins by Nana (at suicidedollz). Both the straps around the knee and ankle can be changed via hud, which provides loads of variety. The platform creepers made by KokoroPeaches also come with plenty of hud options to change the color of the spikes, or even turn them off all together. I reallllly want creepers in real life, tbh, but can't find any as cute as these, woe.
