I'm about to leave the country, so this is probably my final Halloween themed post for the year! And now's a good time to say 'trick or treat' with this set of poses and props made by Namiichuu and KokoroPeaches, now available at the newest round of Kawaii Project. I've also put together some of my favorite finds at The Secret Hideout, including Altair's devil dress, which is a great match for Supernatural's winged bellicent choker. I'm ready to stuff myself with candy and pass out till Christmas.^^

One thing I can never find enough of in SL is unisex clothing, which is why I'm happy that Ayashi makes a lot of hairstyles that work for both men and women, including this new Keya hair available at the Panic of Pumpkin event. Also unisex is this jacket by flite, which isn't made for V-Tech's flatchest mod, but seems to flatten out nicely nonetheless. And people of all (or not) genders love cute bento ears and tails, right? Aii's new nekomata set, available at The Secret Hideout, offers three sizes of ears (I'm wearing the largest), optional flame effects, and a multi-color hud. The animations are, as usual, fluid and dynamic. Definitely a set that you can pair with almost any look!

There's nothing like spooky + kawaii together to make me happy, which is why I love these unicorn punkins by Yokai -- there's only 100 available at Limit 8, so make sure you get yours before they run out! Glutz's leather and mesh outfit (color change via hud!) may not look kawaii at first glance, but pair it with Ayashi's lolita-style hair from Panic of Pumpkin and you have the perfect pastel-style lolli goth look.^^ As usual, Glutz's outfit comes rigged for several different bodies: hourglass, several varieties of kemono, and maitreya. Yay for versatility!

So many, many good gachas now -- be ready to lose your lindens to get all the great rares at Epiphany, like this delinquent hair by Mello (beanie included!). If you're not in the mood to try your luck, you can pick up these cool cut-out leggins by Nana (at suicidedollz). Both the straps around the knee and ankle can be changed via hud, which provides loads of variety. The platform creepers made by KokoroPeaches also come with plenty of hud options to change the color of the spikes, or even turn them off all together. I reallllly want creepers in real life, tbh, but can't find any as cute as these, woe.

I feel like a grim priestess in this awesomely detailed skull headpiece and halo by Nana, available at The Dark Style Fair starting tomorrow. Anyone who likes Japanese-themed items should be sure to check out Matsuri, where I went just a little nuts over Konpeitou's gachas (always a sucker for their gachas!). I decided to pair my outfit with the new manekineko harness accessory by ::axix::, now available at the Kinky event! The item is rigged for Maitreya or Hourglass, and I'm wearing the hourglass version so that it will fit over my Maitreya outfit. So it looks a little looser than it actually would, were I wearing it with my hourglass body. I spookified the outfit up a bit with this dramatic mask by Ego and Aii, who never fail to deliver in the area of dark fantasy.

There's so many events happening right now that it's a bit hard to know where to start spending your lindens. I recommend starting at gacha guardians, because at least there's free gifts! You can also try your luck at Kokoro<3Peaches cute namii gacha, with comes with all sorts of accessories, a rare outfit (maitreya fit), and rare shoes. The loli gacha hair by Ayashi looks great with it, and the curl texture is, as usual, just perfect. If you still have money left after playing all those gachas, definitely check out the Nightmare event for lots of spooky halloween goodies, including this goth kitty backpack from glutz. (Doubles as the perfect trick or treat bag, no doubt!)

I've been in the mood to upgrade my male avi lately, which led to some pretty big purchases: the jake belleza body and catwa daniel head. A lot of lindens, but no regrets whatsoever. I especially love the shape of the Jake body, and am glad to see that some of SL's best creators are now making items rigged for Jake. This includes dark and unique accessories by CereberusXing.
